New Staffers At Ccgh

WESTMINSTER - : Two new staff members have joined Carroll County General Hospital:

* Dr. Andrew J. Surmak, a specialist in vascular surgery, has recently joined the medical staff.

A graduate of the medical program of University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, he completed his internship and residency at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Among his professional affiliations are membership in the Chesapeake Vascular Society, Eastern Vascular Society and the Baltimore Academy of Surgeons. Surmak's offices are in Suite 206 of the Billingslea Medical Building, 542 Washington Road, Westminster, and in the Medical Services Building, 3350 Wilkens Ave., No. 304, Baltimore.

* Dana W. Sirkin, occupational therapist, has joined the physical therapy department.

Licensed by the state and registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association, Sirkin has a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from University of Buffalo in New York.

Sirkin's experience is concentrated in occupational therapy for adult physical disabilities. A therapist who formerly worked in the Baltimore area, she recently returned to Maryland after three years in Salt Lake City, where she worked in occupational therapy at the University of Utah Medical Center.
