Theater shooting probed

November 13, 1990

Baltimore County police today were trying to determine if a man shot last week at a Golden Ring Mall cinema was shot by an assailant or if his own gun accidentally fired.

JTC On Nov. 4, Clinton Anderson Jr., 21, of the 1600 block of E. 33rd St., was shot once in the chest. Anderson told police he left his seat and walked back to his cousin to inquire if he wanted to sit with him. He said a man stepped out from behind a partition and shot him.

The cousin said the gunman had asked for the time in line before the movie. Anderson was released yesterday from the Shock-Trauma Unit in Baltimore.
