Reporter Cited For Her Work On Schools

November 11, 1990

Anne Arundel County Sun education reporter Dianne Williams Hayes has earned a School Bell award from the Maryland State Teachers Association.

Hayes was cited for "All things being Equal," a three-part series that ran in May and examined whether county students are afforded different educational opportunities depending on where they live.

The award, Hayes' second since coming to the Anne Arundel County Sun in February 1989, was presented Friday night at the MSTA's annual convention in Ocean City.
