John C. Lovell Retired salesman

A memorial service for John C. Lovell, a retired salesman, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Immanuel Episcopal Church, 1509 Glencoe Road, Glencoe.

Mr. Lovell, who was 66, died Tuesday of cancer at his home in Sparks.

He moved to Sparks from Berkeley Heights, N.J., in 1986 after retiring from a job as a salesman of air and hydraulic powered tools and equipment for the AirOyal Co.

Born in Waterbury, Conn., and a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., he served in the Army during World War II.

Mr. Lovell is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former DaiseCudworth LeBeau; a daughter, Jennifer Littman of Baltimore; two sons, John Clayton Lovell Jr. of Franklin, N.J., and Timothy Lovell of Hampstead, N.H.; and a brother, Robert C. Lovell, of Egypt, Texas and Nantucket.
