Services for Trent C. Chapman, an engineering student at Morgan State University, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 1234 Druid Hill Ave.
He died of respiratory failure Friday at his home on Northwick Court in Northeast Baltimore. He was 25.
Born in Baltimore, Mr. Chapman attended public schools here and graduated in 1983 from City College, where he was a two-year member of the wrestling team and manager of the baseball team.
After two years at Morgan he interrupted his academic education to work. His employment included jobs with USF&G Corp., Baker Watts Investors and the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
