Promoter Josh Hall announced this week that ranked welterweight Victor Davis will headline Wednesday's dinner-boxing show at La Fontaine Bleu in Glen Burnie.
Davis, 23, is rated No. 6 in the North American Boxing Federation and No. 10 in the International Boxing Federation. He most recently fought on Oct. 22, stopping Edwin Curet in eight rounds in New Jersey.
Davis (21-7-1 with 12 knockouts), who trains in Laurel and Pasadena, will fight Ohio native Nick Parker in the 10-round main event. Hall said Parker (20-16-2 with 14 knockouts) has fought four world champions.
Other bouts scheduled include a six-round cruiserweight matchup pitting Marion Wilson of Hillcrest Heights against Paul Ford of Ohio; Andrew Council and Mike Duncan, both of Washington, in a six-round middleweight bout; Reggie Little (Hillcrest Heights) and Lorenzo Whithead (Washington), four rounds, welterweight; Jerry Walker (Baltimore) and Andre Hill (Washington), four rounds, junior-middleweight; Cecil Simms (Baltimore) and Tyrone Griffin (Brooklyn), four rounds, super-middleweight; and David Williams (Washington) and Sylvester Cash (Brooklyn), four rounds, light-heavyweight.
Hall said between 450 and 500 tickets have been sold for the show.
