Gas prices dip as demand falls

Gasoline prices, which gushed after Iraq invaded Kuwait, dipped last week as demand tapered off during colder weather, the American Automobile Association said yesterday. But the modest decline may be only a momentary respite since yesterday light, sweet crude oil for December delivery closed up 67 cents at $32.63 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
