Firm puts FNN up for sale

NEW YORK -- Infotechnology Inc. said today that it was seeking to sell its troubled Financial News Network cable news program. The New York-based investment company also recently put United Press International, the 83-year-old news agency, up for sale.

Infotechnology owns 47 percent of FNN and 97 percent of UPI.
