Homemaker, 81

Services for Severn resident Emma Marie Tyrrell were held Nov. 3 at Kirkley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tyrrell, 81, died of heart failure Nov. 2 at North Arundel Hospital.

The former Emma Tillman was a resident of Severn for the last four years and a Baltimore resident for 77 years.

A homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and canning foods.

Her husband, George R. Tyrrell, died before her.

She is survived by two daughters, Ellen F. Stair of Baltimore and Mary C. Renshaw of Severn; a sister, Lillian Ramsey of Canfield, Ohio; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Baltimore Action for the Homeless.


Electrical inspector, 69

Services for Millersville resident Florence F. Deich will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Kirkley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Deich, 69, died of heart failure Nov. 3 at her home.

A resident of Millersville for 50 years, she worked as an electrical inspector for Westinghouse for 31 years until her retirement in 1982.

She was a member of Church of the Crucifixion.

She is survived by her husband, Harold A. Deich; a brother, Mathew Goff of Marley Park; and two sisters, Ellen Roy of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Rose Hennessey of Houston.
