Holiday bazaar season begins this weekend with food, gift items and fun

The Hunt's Methodist Church will hold its annual Christmas bazaar, luncheon and dinner tomorrow and Saturday. Bazaar hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow, luncheon 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, and turkey dinner 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, with bazaar hours from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Call 339-7770.

The 16th annual Mistletoe Mart will be held Thursday through Saturday at the Church of the Ascension, 23 N. Court St., Westminster. Participating will be 37 craftspeople from 10 states. Home-cooked foods will be available. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Call (301) 848-7826.

The Auxiliary and Volunteers of Mercy Medical Center will sponsor their annual bazaar and luncheon from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday in the main lobby of the hospital, 3301 St. Paul Place. Call 332-9171.

Woodlawn Chapter No. 101, Order of the Eastern Star, will present a holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Star Community Hall, 7405 Windsor Mill Road, Woodlawn. A ham and oyster dinner and Christmas bazaar will be held Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Baltimore and Robinson streets. The bazaar begins at 11 a.m. and the dinner is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Call 675-2753.

Chesaco Methodist Church, 901 Chesaco Ave., will hold its Christmas craft bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Brunch, baked goods and a kiddie corner will be available. Call 687-0250.

A holiday fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 5606 Johnnycake Road at Route 40 West. The St. David's Church Christmas bazaar will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 4700 Roland Ave. Highlights will be white elephants, a country store with gourmet items, a boutique with handmade sweaters, needlework and craft items, used toys, original decorations and home-baked items. The United Methodist Women of Emmarts United Methodist Church, Rolling and Dogwood roads, will hold their annual holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Our Lady of Grace Church in Parkton will hold its fourth annual Country Christmas Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 17 in the parish center, 18310 Middletown Road.
