FORT WASHINGTON -- Die Laughing took control from the start before going on to win the $298,345 Presidential Stakes at Rosecroft Raceway Saturday night.

The son of No Nukes paid $2.60 as the heavy favorite in a field of nine 2-year-old pacers.

With Dick Silverman driving, the colt turned back challenges from Stormin Jessie and Artsplace. Cambest launched a late surge and finished second, one length back.
