Man seriously hurt in theater shooting

November 05, 1990

Baltimore County police had no suspects in a shooting last night outside a Golden Ring Mall movie theater that left a 21-year-old man seriously wounded.

Police said the man, whose identity they did not disclose, was shot once in the left side about 10 p.m. while he was standing in the exit hallway of the United Artists theaters. The theaters were showing "Jacob's Ladder," "Marked for Death" and "Ghost."

The assailant -- a man described as wearing a red, white and blue sweat suit -- fled. Police said they did not know what led to the shooting.
