Marine Pfc. David A. Brown, son of William E. and Mary L. Brown of Annapolis, recently completed the Basic Engineer Equipment Operators Course.
During the 10-week course conducted at Marine Corps Engineer School, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, N.C., Brown received instruction in engineer organization, decontamination of heavy equipment, night operations, equipment recovery, special tools and camouflage.

BLACK GRADUATES FROM ARMY COURSE
Army Reserve Pvt. Christy A. Black has graduated from the Army material control and accounting specialist course at Fort Lee, Va.
The six-week course consisted of procedures for receiving, storing and shipping, plus preparation for storage and handling of supplies.
She is the daughter of Judith A. Black of Westminister.

JENNINGS COMPLETES COURSE ON VEHICLES
Pvt. Trina D. Jennings has completed the motor transport operator course at Fort Dix, Trenton, N.J.
Training included operation of light and heavy military vehicles in both on-, off-road and blackout conditions. Other topics were accident prevention and reporting, operator maintenace and motor marches.
Jennings is the daughter of William Jennings Jr. of Odenton and Victoria L. Fuller of Matthews, N.C.
STAFF SGT. RANDOLPH LEARNS TO BE LEADER
Staff Sgt. Keric N. Randolph, son of Jan B. Randolph of Odenton, has graduated from a non-commissioned officer leadership school.
The sergeant studied techniques of leadership, management, and supervision.
Randolph is a joint matter-Latin American affairs supervisor at Albrook Air Force Station, Panama.
GABRIEL TAKES PART IN RESERVE TRAINING
Navy Lt. Cmdr. Mark L. Gabriel, son of Elizabeth Gabriel of Annapolis, recently participated in two weeks of active duty training for reservists.
During the training conducted aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga, homeported in Mayport, Fla., Gabriel received information and practical application relating to current military procedures and policies.
He is a 1978 graduate of Miami Univeristy, Oxford, Ohio, with a bachelor of arts degree.
SANTOS ENDS COURSE ON SIGNAL INTELLIGENCE
Pvt. Clinton D. Santos has completed the electronic warfare signal intelligence emitter identifier course at Fort Devens, Ayer, Mass.
Students learned international Morse code and how to use various projections and plotting techniques for locating targets.
The private is the son of Hester W. Santos of Glen Burnie and a 1988 graduate of Glen Burnie High School.
AIR FORCE'S CONWAY LEARNS ABOUT MONEY
Sgt. Jacqualine Y. Conway has graduated from the Air Force financial services course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.
During the course, students were taught principles and procedures for preparing input and operating euipment in a mechanized disbursment system.
Fund accounting, military pay and travel payments were emphasized.
Graduates also earned credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
She is the daughter of Vivian L. Conway of Odenton.

SYLVAIN FINISHES AVIONICS COURSE
Navy Airman Apprentice Mark A. Sylvain, son of Ronald W. and Clair Sylvain of Baltimore, has completed the Basic Avionics (aviation electronics) Technician Course.
During the 27-week course, conducted at the Naval Air Technical Training Center, Naval Air Station Memphis, Millington, Tenn, Sylvain received basic technical instruction on the fundamentals necessary to perform job-entry-level aviation electronics maintenance tasks. In addition, Sylvain received instruction to enable him to receive further specialized training on operational aviation electronics equipment found in naval aircraft.
