This Chinese restaurant and carryout on Cape St. Claire Road off Route 50 has the usual assortment of Chinese seafood, poultry, beef and pork at prices that make it easy to opt for carryout when you're not up for cooking.

Soups go from $1.35 a pint for egg drop to $2.05 for eight treasure soup. Quarts are $2.50-$3.70. Appetizers include egg roll, chicken wings, shrimp toast and fried dumplings ($3.95 for six).

Seafood, mild or hot and spicy, includes a chef's specialty of shrimp and garlic sauce for $8.75. Other chef's specialties go for $7.25 for gourmet chicken to $10.25 for steak imperial.

Shrimp with mixed vegetables ($7.25), Szechwan shrimp ($7.75), shrimp with ginger and spring onion ($8.25) and lobster and chili black bean sauce ($12.95 a quart) are alternatives.

Poultry dishes include lemon chicken, almond gai ding ($6.50), a hot and spicy kung po chicken ($6.75), moo goo gai pan ($5.95) and chicken with snow peas ($6.50). Peking duck is $8.75 for a half and $16.25 for a whole duck.

Lunch specials from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. include the usual lo mein, poultry, etc. for $3.75 to $5.95 and $1.25 more for an egg roll and scoop of rice.
