Services for Debra Jo Benyo, who worked in cup and clothing factories in the Baltimore area, will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Protestant Community United Church of Christ, 155 Orville Road, Essex.

Mrs. Benyo, who was 40 and lived on Westway North in Essex, died Tuesday at Mercy Medical Center after a stroke.

She was a machine operator for the Sweetheart Cup Co. in Owings Mills for about six months. Earlier, she was a seamstress for the Premier Manufacturing Co.

The former Debra Jo Shelito was born near Detroit and came to the Baltimore area about five years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Michael Benyo Sr.; three sons, Kevin Goody of Baltimore and Steven Benyo and Richard M. Benyo Jr., both of Michigan; three daughters, Denise Goody and Barbara Benyo, both of Essex, and Tina Benyo of Michigan; her parents, Fred and Betty Shelito of Michigan; two brothers, Thomas Shelito of Michigan and Rick Shelito of Bel Air; and a grandson.
