SAVANI SELECTED REALTOR OF 1990

Patricia M. Savani, of Severna Park, has been honored by the Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors for her involvement in community activities and for her professional achievements.

She has been named Anne Arundel County's Realtor of the Year for 1990.

A licensed Realtor for 13 years, Savani is the manager of the Riva Road office of Champion Realty.

The selection committee for the award traditionally places primary emphasis on the quantity and quality of a candidate's achievements in community service projects.

Savani, a recipient of the "Spirit of Excellence" award from County Executive James Lighthizer for outstanding contributions to the community, has been active in the work of the Maryland Kidney Foundation, the Boy Scouts of America and the American Cancer Society.

In the professional arena, she has been stalwart in the maintenance of ethical standards in the real estate field. For years she has taught ethics courses for beginning Realtors, sponsored by the county association. She has also chaired the local professional Standards and Grievance Committees.

As the county honoree, Savani is eligible for the State of Maryland Realtor of the Year competition later this year.
