ASHLAND,VA. — ASHLAND, Va. -- Seniors Don Barry and Brad Hiester scored 30 seconds apart in the second overtime to lift Mount St. Mary's (12-4-3) to a 4-3 soccer victory over Randolph-Macon (9-11-2) yesterday.
The Mount saw a 2-1 lead disappear when Randolph-Macon's Andy Trucksess scored with 38 seconds remaining in regulation. The Yellow Jackets moved ahead, 3-2, in the first overtime, but Barry tied the score with 4 minutes, 48 seconds left in the second extra period, and Hiester followed with his second goal of the game 30 seconds later.
