Londontown Signs Lease

October 31, 1990

ELDERSBURG - Londontown Corp. will lease 151,200 square feet of warehouse space in the new Eldersburg Business Center near the intersection of Routes 26 and 32.

Londontown, a distributor of London Fog outerwear in Eldersburg, will use the space to store its knitwear products, said James F. Haneschlager, vice president for human resources.

Knitwear products currently are stored in the company's warehouse, but more room is needed for rainwear there, he said.

Londontown will be leasing part of a 360,000-square-foot mixed-use warehouse, scheduled to be finished in February.

Merritt, commercial and industrial developers in Baltimore, is developing the business center. The company has plans to construct seven buildings on the 75-acre site. This is Merritt's first project in the county.
