Theresa Jankowski

Theresa F. Jankowski, a homemaker who worked in a family-owned interior design business, died Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital after a month-long bout with cancer. She was 58 and resided on Rosalie Avenue in northeast Baltimore.

A mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Jankowski will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 8420 Belair Road, Fullerton.

The daughter of immigrants, the former Theresa Frances Lioi was born in Little Italy and educated at St. Leo's School.

In 1952, she married Joseph M. Jankowski Jr., co-owner of D'Jeanne Interiors Inc., a family business in the 7600 block of Belair Road that was destroyed by fire in 1985.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Joseph M. Jankowski III of Perry Hall and Michael V. and Mark A. Jankowski, both of Baltimore; two daughters, Karen A. Bollinger of Baltimore and Teresa M. Hermann of Lagos, Portugal; and four grandsons, Joseph A. Jankowski and Jordan M. Jankowski, both of Perry Hall; Nicholas David Bollinger of Baltimore and Gareth Hermann of Lagos.

Also surviving are four brothers, Paul Lioi of Orlando, Fla., and Andrew, John and Gerard Lioi, all of Baltimore; and a sister, Catherine Mancuso of Orlando, Fla.
