Kenneth E. Griffith Salesman

Kenneth E. Griffith, a salesman for 35 years with the Felmor Corp., distributors of paints and supplies, died of cancer Oct. 12 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Mr. Griffith, who was 58, lived on Thornbrook Road in Ellicott City.

The Baltimore native was a 1952 graduate of City College and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. As a young man, he played the saxophone with dance bands in the Baltimore area.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lee Whatmough; three sons, Mark and Steven Griffith, both of Boca Raton, Fla., and David Griffith of Boca Raton and Ocean City; three daughters, Dawn Moon of Catonsville and Sherry and Shelly Griffith, both of Ellicott City; his mother, Mary C. Griffith of Catonsville; a brother, William C. Griffith of Ellicott City; and a sister, Eileen M. Sanphillipo of Catonsville.

Services for Mr. Griffith were held Oct. 16 at the Leroy M. and Russell C. Witzke Funeral Home in Catonsville.
