POLICE: FOUR WOMEN OFFER SEX FOR HEROIN

Four woman were charged Wednesday with soliciting sex for heroin along Ritchie Highway.

Brenda May Burr, 34, of the 1100 block Washington Blvd. in Baltimore; Sharon Lynn Wrightson, 27, of the 1200 block Ostend Street in Baltimore; Charlotte Lynn Stanovich, 19, of the 1100 block Carroll Street in Baltimore, and Theresa Ann Rice, 31, of no fixed address, were all charged with solicitation for the purposes of prostitution, county police said.

Investigators said they believe the women were working along the Ritchie Highway corridor in exchange for heroin that was given to them from an "individual" in Baltimore.

Police said they had no additional information on the individuals.

Investigators said any customers caught with the women will be charged with soliciting for prostitution.

GAS STATION ROBBED AND CLERK ASSAULTED

The Big Red gas station in Glen Burnie was robbed Tuesday, county police reported.

Police said a man walked into the station in the 7700 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard at about 9:25 p.m. with a soda bottle in his hand.

When the clerk turned around to check the price of a pack of cigarettes, the man hit him on the head with the bottle and took money from the cash register.

The police described the robber as black, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, and wearing a dark-colored jogging suit.

BOY SHOOTS BB GUN AT CAR, POLICE SAY

A 17-year-old Annapolis boy was charged with reckless endangerment and destruction of property after police said he shot the windows out of a car Wednesday in Annapolis.

The police said an undercover officer in an unmarked car on Forest Drive near Martha Court heard gunshots at about 8:20 p.m. The shots shattered the passenger side window of his car.

When uniformed officers arrived, they found a boy who was breathing heavy and looked as if he had been running.

When the officers asked the boy if he had seen anyone running, he took out a BB gun pistol and police found several cartridges.

2100 block Defense Highway: Oct. 22, entry gained through the door; nothing taken.

2100 block of Crofton Highway: Oct. 23, entry gained through the rear door; unknown property taken.

Glen Burnie:

800 block of Causal Court: Oct. 24, entry gained through the door; tools taken. Total loss: Unknown.

300 block of Mae Road: Oct. 17, entry gained through the rear door; unknown property taken.

Laurel:

200 block Red Clay Road: Oct. 24, entry gained through the window; nothing taken.

Linthicum:

1000 block of Andover Road: Oct. 24, entry gained through the basement door; appliances taken. Total loss: $1,179.

Odenton:

1100 block of Annapolis Road: Oct. 23, entry gained through the front door; money taken. Total loss: $150.

Severn:

1400 block of Watts Avenue: Oct. 17, entry gained through the door; bicycle taken. Total loss: Unknown.
