Pearl S. Koenig Ran restaurant

Services for Pearl S. Koenig, who operated a bakery, restaurant and bar in Denton for about 40 years, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Moore Funeral Home in Denton.

Mrs. Koenig, who was 92, died Monday of heart failure at the Memorial Hospital in Easton.

Mrs. Koenig was born Pearl Statum in Denton and lived there most of her life.

She and her husband, George H. Koenig, started the business, called Koenig's, in the early 1920s. After his death in 1959, she continued to run the business until the early 1960s.

She is survived by a grandson, Lewis G. Koenig of Denton; three granddaughters, Carole Ann Briscoe of Fallston and Catherine K. Spence and Betty Lou Greenly, both of Denton; five great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
