ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Stephen Schauer, 22, an employee at the Hamilton Amoco service station in the 5600 block of Harford Road, reported that he was in the station around 9 p.m. yesterday when a man armed with a handgun entered the building through a rear door and robbed him of money belonging to the station. Police said that during the robbery the gunman struck Schauer on the head with the weapon. Police said the robber fled the station with nearly $85. Police said Schauer was not seriously injured.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that a man armed with a sawed-off shotgun accosted a couple as they walked in the 2300 block of E. Northern Parkway around 9 p.m. yesterday and ordered them to give up their money. Police said the gunman robbed Gerry Wills, of the 5600 block of Plymouth Road, of $20 after striking him in the face. Police said the gunman then threatened Teresa Plantholt, of the 6700 block of Havenoak Road in the Rosedale section of Baltimore County, but did not rob her.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Ramblewood Road reported that someone entered her apartment with a key and removed two VCRs and 10 movie tapes. Police said the property was valued at nearly $600.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- James Farmer, of the 1200 block of Chesaco Ave. in Rosedale, Baltimore County, reported that while his vehicle was parked in the 5500 block of Frankford Ave. someone broke into the vehicle and removed golf equipment valued at more than $800. Police said entry into the vehicle was made by breaking a window.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 1500 block of E. 28th St. and stole property valued at $30. Police said entry was gained by forcing open a door after climbing onto a second-story roof.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police reported that property valued at more than $600 was removed from a dwelling in the 3700 block of Keswick Road after someone gained entry through a basement window. Police said the burglar made off with a VCR, AM-FM cassette stereo equipment and a clock.

RAPE: Northern District -- A resident of the 2400 block of Willow Glen Drive reported that upon meeting her ex-boyfriend in the 5800 block of Smith Ave. to discuss their relationship, she was attacked while walking back to her car and raped. Police said the man escaped and that the woman was taken to Mercy Hospital, where she was treated for injuries and released. Police said the woman was advised to seek a warrant for the man's arrest.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Frank Barnes, of the 2500 block of Park Heights Terrace, reported that he was seated in his 1985 Mercury while parked in front of his home yesterday when he was forced to get out of the vehicle by a man armed with a handgun. Barnes told police the gunman got into the car and drove off.

RAPE: Northern District -- A resident of the 5000 block of Catalpha Road reported that she was seated inside a car while parked in the 5100 block of Midwood Ave. yesterday when the driver raped her. After reporting the incident to police, the woman was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment and released.

RAPE: Northern District -- Police arrested a man and were holding him at the station pending charges that he assaulted and raped a woman yesterday during an argument in the victim's home. Police said the man shoved the woman down onto the bed and raped her. Police said the man then destroyed property in the woman's home before stealing her 1983 Chevrolet and driving off. Police said the man, who is known by the victim, was arrested a short time later.

ROBBERY:Southwestern District -- David Sverly, of the 1200 block of Steelton Ave., reported that he was in the 800 block of Poplar Grove St. around 10:30 p.m. Monday when he was accosted by a man armed with an handgun who ordered him to give up his money. Police said the gunman robbed Sverly of more than $100 and fled the scene on foot.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Employees of Young's auto body shop in the 2700 block of Wilkens Ave. reported that someone broke into their business through the garage area and removed a purse containing cash and property, all valued at $300.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Police reported that a man entered the Baskin-Robbins ice cream store in the 4800 block of Roland Ave. around 7 p.m. yesterday and ordered a female clerk to give him the contents of the cash register while implying he was armed with a shotgun. Police said the clerk gave $70 to the man, who fled the scene on foot. The clerk told police that during the robbery she saw what appeared to be a weapon hidden inside the man's shirt.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Bernice Karmacettei, of the 3300 block of Kenyon Ave., reported that someone removed property valued at nearly $50 from her front porch.
