Nancy Lee Canby Former schoolteacher

Services for Nancy Lee Canby, a former Baltimore County schoolteacher, will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. John's Episcopal Church in Olney.

Mrs. Canby, who was 58 and lived in Sandy Spring, died Sunday of an intestinal illness at the Montgomery General Hospital in Olney.

A native of Washington who was reared in Bethesda, the former Nancy Lee Yesair was a graduate of the Mount Vernon Seminary High School and Northwestern University.

From 1956 until 1958, she taught at Oakleigh Elementary School.

Her husband, William M. Canby, is a partner in a Rockville law firm, Miller, Miller and Canby.

In addition to her husband, her survivors include a daughter, Nancy Lee Canby of Portland, Ore., and a son, William D. Canby of Sandy Spring.
