Funeral services were held for former Glen Burnie resident Irma K. Soeder on Oct. 19 at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church.
Miss Soeder, 93, died of heart failure on Oct. 16 at Deaton Medical Center.
A resident of Glen Burnie for 34 years, she worked as a secretary for USF & G for 35 years.
She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church (formerly Trinity Lutheran Church) and was active in teaching Sunday School.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her sister, Adele S. Phillips, died before her.
KATHERINE CARSON FACTORY WORKER, 78
Funeral services were held for Pasadena resident Katherine Carson on Oct.
20 at Kirkley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carson, 78, died of heart failure on Oct. 17 at her home.
She worked as a factory worker for Benton Paper Box Company.
Her husband, James H. Carson Sr., died before her.
She is survived by two sons, James H. Carson Jr. of Pasadena and Raymond F. Carson of Liberty Heights; a daughter, Mary Ellen Aten of South Baltimore; four sisters; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
THELMA D. DARWELL TREASURY EMPLOYEE, 66
Funeral services will take place for Mayo resident Thelma Duvall Darwell at 9 a.m. today at Hardesty Funeral Home.
Mrs. Darwell, 66, died of cancer on Oct. 22 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
She retired in 1979 after 30 years with the Treasury Department in Washington, D.C.
Her husband, Bernie Darwell, died in 1959.
She is survived by a sister, Alice S. Thoman of Atlanta, Georgia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
MAY S. DONNER HOMEMAKER, 78
Funeral services will take place for Annapolis resident May Silverman Donner at noon today at Hardesty Funeral Home.
Mrs. Donner, 78, died of congestive heart failure on Oct. 22 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, Alex Donner; a daughter, Ellen Rae Donner of Annapolis; four sister, Rita Schwartz of Brooklyn, N.Y., Bella Leftoff of California, Alice Pintoff of Long Island, N.Y., and Shirley Sitmomer of New York City.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
