E. Gill Hart Cvil engineer

A Mass of Christian burial for E. Gill Hart, who worked for an engineering firm in Baltimore County, will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Immaculate Conception Church, Baltimore and Ware avenues in Towson.

Mr. Hart, who was 59, died Friday at his home on Joppa Road after a short illness.

Born in Baltimore, he graduated from Calvert Hall High School and was a 1953 graduate of the Johns Hopkins University.

He had been an employee at Wilson T. Ballard civil engineers in Owings Mills for 32 years and was vice president at the time of his death.

He was a retired lieutenant commander in the Navy.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, the former Carolyn G. Fitzsimmons; a daughter, Janet M. Hart of Upper Marlboro; three brothers, Paul W. Hart of Towson, Theodore G. Hart of Hunt Valley and Charles B. Hart of Plantation, Fla.; two sisters, Mary P. Gordon of Overlea and Barbara A. Platania of Baltimore; and one grandchild.
