October 21, 1990|By Staff report

A 21-year-old construction worker was injured Thursday when strong winds pushed a portion of a wall on him at the North Bend Elementary School being built near Jarrettsville.

Tony Logan, of Havre de Grace, was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center at University Hospital in Baltimore.

Logan, who received head and back injuries, was released Friday, a hospital spokesman said.

Benjamin Kurtz, chief of the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Co., said Logan was standing on the ground when a 10-foot-high section of the wall fell on him shortly after noon.
