Two Glen Burnie Men Face Drug Charges

County police have charged two Glen Burnie residents with possession of marijuana after police served a search warrant on their home Tuesday night.

Michael J. Buck, 29, and David Russell Wethlow, 39, of the 400 block Glen Mar Road, were also charged with producing marijuana and possession of cocaine, police said.

The police said officers served the warrant at about 11 p.m. and found two large marijuana plants worth about $600. They also seized cocaine residue and several pieces of paraphernalia.


County police are looking for three men who tried to break into the Econo Lodge in Annapolis Sunday night.

The police said the night manager of the motel, in the 2400 block of Riva Road, heard a loud banging noise at the side door at 11:35 p.m.

When the manager went to investigate he saw three men trying to get in.

One of the men pulled out a small gun and then all three ran away.

The police described the first man as black, in his late 20s, about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a tan shirt. The second man is described as black, in his late teens, wearing a red shirt and blue cap. The third man is described as black, in his mid-20s, wearing a white T-shirt.

2700 block of Gingerview Lane: Oct. 15. Jewelry taken; total loss: $9,800.


8100 block of Bodkin Avenue: Oct. 16, entry gained through the front door. Appliances taken; total loss: $900.

1300 block of Dale Road: Oct. 16, entry gained through the side door.

Appliances taken; total loss: $3,600.
