The Cincinnati Reds will win at least two games but have little chance of unseating the Oakland A's as world champions, say Evening Sun readers and other respondents to "It's Your Call."
Seventy-eight percent of those responding correctly predicted that the A's would not sweep the Reds, but almost as many (71 percent) said the A's eventually would prevail. The A's support also was evident in that 81 percent said the Series would not go the full seven games, but 61 percent said the Reds would win at least two games. Thus, it appears the majority of the 313 respondents to the telephone poll are predicting the A's in six games.
