New regulations for day-care
FAMILY DAY-care providers throughout the state are encouraged to educate themselves about the new regulations and licensing procedures during a series of training sessions being held through Nov. 4. The next sessions are Saturday at the Harford Institute, 2555 Harford Road, and at the Community College of Baltimore. Summit for families
Children and parents are invited to talk about family issues at a Family Summit on Thursday evening at Annapolis Senior High School. Two experts in adolescent and family dynamics, Bob Burton and Milton Creagh, will discuss communication, responsibility, respect and boundaries in a family. The summit, which begins at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria, is free and open to youngsters 11 and up and their parents. For more information, phone 263-7927.
