The Free Nurses Clinic at Paul's Place in southwest Baltimore has won a distinguished program award from the Maryland Association for Higher Education. The award is to be presented Oct 19 during the association's fall meeting.
The southwest Baltimore clinic is staffed by students from the University of Maryland School of Nursing. It was established five years ago at Paul's Place, a soup kitchen and adult day-care center on Washington Boulevard.
