The Havre de Grace Police Department's annual gun show, featuring such weapons as an antique Gatling gun and state-of-the-art assault rifles, concludes today at the community center on Lagaret Lane.
The show, which opened Saturday, has drawn about 40 collectors from the East Coast to display, sell and trade an array of weapons.
Organizers will also offer a demonstration of an 1885 Gatling gun, an early kind of machine gun that has a cluster of barrels. An HK-93, one of the newest types of assault rifles, also will be demonstrated.
The community center's firing range will be opened to the public for practice shooting for a fee of $10 per hour. During each hour, shooters may use one weapon. If they wish to practice with another weapon they must pay another $10.
To get to the show, follow Route 155 to Graceview Drive and then follow Graceview Drive to Quarry Road. The community center is on the right, off Lagaret Lane. Admission to the show, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is $3.
