It's your call/What to watch?

October 10, 1990

Aye Carumba! What a decision, man!

"The Simpsons" are back, Cosby's hot and the baseball playoffs are on. What to watch?

Millions of dollars have been invested betting on what you are going to watch tomorrow night at 8 o'clock, when for the first time a new episode of "The Simpsons" on Fox goes up against an episode of "The Cosby Show" on NBC in which the Huxtable family grows by one. In addition, the Boston Red Sox will be playing the Oakland A's in the American League Championship series on CBS. Of course, you could choose to watch something else or nothing at all. As Bart Simpson would say, it's a free country, man.

To register your choice, call SUNDIAL, the Baltimore Sun's free directory of telephone information services at 783-1800 (or 268-7736 in Anne Arundel County) today until midnight.

After you hear the greeting, you'll be asked to punch in a four-digit code on your touch-tone phone. Punch 4600 and you'll be connected with "It's Your Call," The Evening Sun's survey on topical issues.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.

Look for results in Thursday's Accent Plus section of The Evening Sun.
