ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police today continued to search for three men who entered the Pizza Hut in the 6000 block of Moravia Park Drive shortly before midnight and fled moments later with more than $1,200. Police said that besides taking the money from the restaurant, the trio, including one who was armed with a handgun, robbed three customers. During the robbery, the gunman fired a shot that ricocheted off a wall and struck one of the victims in the neck, causing a minor injury. Police said the injured person, whose name was not immediately available, refused medical treatment. Police said a second customer was choked by one of the three bandits and that the third had the gun pressed to his face. Police said the robbery occurred shortly after a police officer escorted a Pizza Hut employee to a bank where he made a night deposit.

SHOOTING: Western District -- Police reported that James Earl Perkins, 18, of the 1100 block of N. Fremont Ave., was in stable condition today at the University of Maryland Medical Center after being shot in the back shortly before 1 a.m. today while talking on an outside telephone in the 1100 block of Laurens St. Perkins told police the gunman was a man he knew and that

after being shot he ran home, where he summoned an ambulance. Perkins told police he knew of no reason why his friend would shoot him.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police arrested a resident of the 5300 block of Wright Ave. and charged him with breaking into three homes and also attempting to break into two other dwellings. Police said Kenneth Wayne Green, 31, was charged with breaking into houses in the 900 block of Spangler Way and on the block where he lives. Police said entry was gained by using a tool to force open doors and that property valued at more than $600 was removed from at least one of the houses. Police said attempts were made to gain entry into a house in the 1000 block of Quantril Way and another in the Wright Avenue block. Police said Green was being held at the Eastern District pending a bail hearing.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 4900 block of Crenshaw Ave. through a bedroom window and removed a TV set and a VCR. Police said the property was valued at nearly $2,000.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Employees of Glisson Masonry, in the 4600 block of Harford Road, reported that someone entered the property and removed a concrete mixer valued at $3,000, police said.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police arrested Antoine Anderson, of the 5900 block of St. Regis Road, and charged him with the aggravated assault of two people during an incident inside an apartment in the 1800 block of Maulsby Court early yesterday. Police said that during the incident, Stephanie Young, of the Maulsby Court address, was struck in the face with a 24-inch-long metal pipe and that Brian Cunningham, 17, also of the Maulsby Court address, was struck in the chest. Police said Anderson was being held at the Eastern District pending a bail hearing.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Christopher Kolb, of the 5300 block of Nuth Ave., reported that while his van was parked near his home, someone broke into the vehicle and removed plumbing tools valued at more than $2,800.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Sandra Herbert, of the 2800 block of Mayfield Ave., reported that she was working at a carry-out in the 3300 block of Belair Road when someone went behind the counter and stole her purse. Herbert told police the purse contained cash and personal property, all valued at $32.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Michael Riley, of the 2100 block of Woodbox Lane in western Baltimore County, reported that while he was putting gas in his car at a service station in the 5500 block of Harford Road yesterday someone entered the car and removed more than $100 from his jacket that was laying on a seat.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 1600 block of Northgate Road and removed more than $600 worth of clothing from a closet. Police said entry into the house was made through a bathroom window.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone entered the Super Star Inn in the 5600 block of Pulaski Highway and removed more than $800 worth of musical equipment.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police responding to a shoplifting at the K mart in the 5000 block of Sinclair Lane yesterday arrested a 26-year-old man who attempted to leave the store without paying for several video tapes valued at nearly $150. Police said the man was being held at the Eastern District lockup pending charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2700 block of Corona Court reported that someone broke into her home and removed $500. Police said entry was gained by breaking a pane of glass out of the rear patio door.
