Architecture and design:

Nancy D. Hagman is named director of graphic design for Annapolis Associated Architects. She will be responsible for environmental and architectural graphics, as well as all supporting collateral materials for institutional, commercial and residential clients.

She was previously owner of DesignPlus Graphics, a design studio specializing in commercial and residential real estate marketing.

At LDR International, Craig Watson is named an associate principal. He previously served on a variety of large scale community planning projects.

Charles Bailey, Dennis Decker, Allison Platt, John Bassert and Sean Davis are named senior associates for the firm, and Karen Van Buren, Scott Webb, Keith Weaver, Chris Hollinde and Carolyn Webber are named associates.

At the H. Chambers Co., Greg Walton, formerly of CHK Architects, is appointed an architectural director and senior designer. Jean Peters Pilch is named executive producer and assistant director of the Telecommunications Center for the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

She will assume the day-to-day duties of supervising the center and producing programs and special video projects.

She was previously assistant to the secretary of Christian formation at the Archdiocesan Center.

Before that, her career in education administration included positions in Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Illinois and Wisconsin. She is the author of teacher's guides as well as articles in the field of religious education. Edward L. Rosenberg is named vice president-supply and transportation of Crown Central Petroleum Corp. He will continue to serve as assistant treasurer of the corporation. In his new position, he will be responsible for the acquisition of crude oil and intermediate feedstocks for Crown's two Texas refineries, bulk sales of refined products and the transportation requirements associated with those activities.

At the plant:

Richard Rosoff is named staff auditor for corporate internal audit for McCormick & Co. Inc. He will participate in financial and operational audits at corporate headquarters and at various operating units throughout the company. He joins McCormick from Coopers and Lybrand where he had held financial auditing responsibilities since August 1988.

Jeffrey A. Goldman is named marketing research associate for the company's McCormick/Schilling Division. He will be responsible for managing consumer research projects and providing key internal and external sales data to the sales field. He previously worked at several marketing research firms and served as a marketing analyst for Digital Equipment Corp.

To your health:

Liz Selig is named evening scheduling coordinator for STAT Health Services Inc., a supplemental staffing agency for health-care facilities. She will be responsible for overseeing staffing activities.

At the Columbia-FreeState Health System, Dr. Gerald W. Newman is named a dermatologist in the Dermatology Department at the Columbia Regional Center. He was previously a dermatologist at the Hawthorne Community Medical group in California.

James W. Hawthorne, who has a doctorate in clinical psychology, joins the Annapolis office of Green Spring Mental Health Services as associate coordinator for substance abuse services.

He was previously director of Mainstream, an outpatient chemical dependency program. Before that, he was director of the Southeast Baltimore Drug Treatment Program at Francis Scott Key Medical Center. William W. Drummond is appointed vice president in the Commercial Real Estate Division at the First National Bank of Maryland.

He will be responsible for developing financial relationships with commercial developers in Washington and Northern Virginia.

At Signet Bank, Kenneth N. Lard is promoted to vice president in the Money Center, where he is involved in fixed-income sales and trading. He joined the bank in 1987 after working in discount brokerage and municipal bond sales at other financial institutions.

David W. Cosimano is promoted to assistant vice president in Signet's department of commercial banking. He joined the bank in 1985 as a marketing research analyst in the commercial services area. He most recently worked as a relationship officer for financial institutions.
