Orioles catcher Mickey Tettleton is eligible to become a free agent after the season ends this coming week. In 1989, he hit 26 home runs and drove in 65 runs despite missing a month !B because of knee surgery. But he has slumped this season, going into tonight's game hitting .222 with 13 home runs and 49 RBIs.
As a switch-hitting catcher, Tettleton could demand a three-year, multi-million dollar contract. Should the Orioles try to re-sign him?
