Baltimore could be host to two major cycling events next year.
The World Cup Cycling Tour wants to bring a race here in September 1991, and the USA Tour could stage an event to replace the now-defunct Tour de Trump in May, The Sun has reported.
The World Cup, sponsored by Perrier, has staged 12 races in this, its first season. Organizers are looking to stage a race here on Sept. 29, 1991, and make it a permanent stop.
The USA Tour is reorganizing since Donald Trump has withdrawn his sponsorship of the Tour de Trump, which came through Baltimore the last two years. In 1991, the race will be held along the Eastern Seaboard May 9 to 19.
