William F. Dadd

William F. Dadd, who had retired as head of locomotive maintenance for the former Chessie System, died Sept. 20 of kidney failure at a hospital in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was 72.

Services for Mr. Dadd, a resident of Calabash, S.C., will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in North Myrtle Beach.

Mr. Dadd is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Navratil; a son, Robert E. Dadd of Kensington; three daughters, Peggy Henry of Randallstown, Nancy Hargest of Lutherville and Sally Himmer of York, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggested memorial contributions to St. Stephen's Church in North Myrtle Beach.
