Robert Marshall Sr.

September 27, 1990

Robert P. Marshall Sr., retired business manager of the Boys' Latin School and former business manager of Archbishop Curley High School, died of kidney failure Sunday at the Francis Scott Key Medical Center.

Private services were planned for Mr. Marshall, who was 68 and lived on Cynthia Court in Overlea.

He began his career in school administration after retiring in 1967 as a chief warrant officer in the Army Counter Intelligence Corps.

He first served in the Army during World War II, remained in the Reserve and was recalled for service in the Korean War.

A native of Coalport, Pa., he was reared in Johnstown, Pa., and settled in the Baltimore area in 1964.

He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret M. Gunselman; two sons, Thomas E. Marshall of Bel Air and Robert P. Marshall Jr. of Hudson, Ohio; a daughter, Deborah M. Fadden of Marblehead, Mass.; a sister, Gloria Coyle of Bakersfield, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

The family suggested memorial contributions could be made to the Kidney Foundation of Maryland.
