Chesapeake-Baltimore County holds off Milford Mill, 20-15

Milford Mill's time-consuming running game ran out of time and steam yesterday at Chesapeake-Baltimore County, as the Bayhawks won behind their defense and passing game, 20-15.

Dave DiSciullo led Chesapeake (1-2, 0-1), passing for 102 yards and a touchdown and scoring twice on quarterback sneaks.

Milford Mill (1-2, 1-0) ran the wishbone successfully, with Bryant Lee (34 carries for 133 yards) and Jeffery Carroll (11 carries for 63 yards) but two fumbles halted drives and allowed DiSciullo and Chesapeake to come back from a one point third-quarter deficit.

Pikesville 26, Hereford 6

Jay Glickson threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score, as host Pikesville (3-0, 2-0) defeated Hereford (1-2, 1-1) in a Baltimore County 1A-2A league game. Glickson passed for 155 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown to Judd Handler.

Calvert Hall 24, Wyo. Sem. 8

Brian Healey rushed for two scores and Will Hercum returned a kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown, as Calvert Hall surprised host Wyoming Seminary Prep of Pennsylvania.

Joppatowne 39, John Carroll 6

B.J. Barnes ran for three touchdowns, as visiting Joppatowne (3-0, 2-0) routed John Carroll (0-3, 0-1) in a Harford County League game.

Gibbons 33, Mt. St. Joseph 0

Eugene Marshall and Marty Kolb ran for two touchdowns each, as Cardinal Gibbons (2-1, 2-0) shut out host Mount St. Joseph (0-3, 0-2) in a Maryland Scholastic Association A Conference game.

Towson 26, Owings Mills 12

Alex Galiani rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns, as Towson (1-2, 1-1) defeated visiting Owings Mills (2-1, 1-1) in a Baltimore County 1A-2A league game.

Dulaney 12, Loch Raven 6

Todd Retchless' touchdown pass to Brenden Lobb gave Dulaney (1-2, 0-0) an overtime victory over Loch Raven (0-3, 0-1). The teams had been tied since halftime, and the winning score came in the fourth overtime.
