A two-person ghost story adapted from a novel by Susan Hill, "The Woman in Black" made its debut during the Christmas season as "a change from the jolliness that takes regional theater by the throat around this time of year," according to playwright Stephen Mallatratt.

"The Woman in Black" will be presented Tuesdays to Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. through Oct. 21. Tickets are $16-$21. For more information call (301) 924-3400.
