Todd Downen, Robert Blanco and Stu Amateau each scored a goal, and Austin Groves had two assists, as No. 3 Centennial (3-0) defeated visiting Mount St. Joseph, 3-0, in a non-league soccer game yesterday.

In other games, Bryan Burgarin's first-half goal lifted visiting No. 10 Calvert Hall over St. Paul's, 1-0.

Greg Foti and Mike Gately scored, as Loyola defeated visiting Gilman, 2-0.

Mike Wetters and Bret Schreiber scored to lead host North Harford (2-1) over Hammond, 2-0.


Six players scored to lead host John Carroll (2-1-1) over Seton Keough (2-2), 6-0.

Stacey Necessary had two goals and an assist to lead visiting Chesapeake of Anne Arundel County (3-0) to a 5-2 victory over Arundel (1-2).

Laura Rocchio scored two goals, as host Fallston (3-0) shut out Mount Hebron, 3-0.

Mary Ellen Carullo and Paige Nettlebladt scored the goals in visiting Centennial's 2-0 win over Atholton.

Moe McDonough's two goals lifted host St. Mary's over Catholic, 2-0.

Renita Young scored twice, as Wilde Lake defeated visiting Joppatowne, 5-3.

Kathleen Jarkewiecz scored three goals, as Mount DeSales defeated host Pompeii, 9-1.

Jena Stacarowski had three goals and an assist in visiting Mount Carmel's 8-0 victory over Towson Catholic.
