Georgia G. Conomos Active in Greek church

Services for Georgia G. Conomos, who was an active laywoman at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at the cathedral, Preston Street and Maryland Avenue.

Mrs. Conomos, who lived in the Ridgely Condominium in Towson, died Wednesday of leukemia at University Hospital at the age of 69.

She had been a legal secretary in the Baltimore law office of her husband, August A. Conomos, from 1975 until his retirement in ** 1985.

The former Georgia George was born in Baltimore. She was a graduate of Southern High School.

At the Greek Orthodox cathedral, she was a volunteer in the library and a member of both the Philoptohos Society and the Daughters of Penelope.

Mrs. Conomos enjoyed travel and had taken trips in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

In addition to her husband, her survivors include two daughters, Vera C. Houzouris of Havre de Grace and Diane C. Homberg of Glen Burnie; a brother, George T. George of Brooklyn Park; and )) three grandchildren.
