The Howard County Department of Education is recruiting interested citizens to serve on a Student Walking Route Committee.
The walking routes to be considered are used by the Department of Education in determining student eligibility for school bus service and/or acceptable student walking routes. The committee will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating walking routes and preparing related reports for submission to the Superintendent of Schools.
