September 18, 1990|By The following accounts were compiled by reporter Richard Irwin from police records in the Baltimore area yesterday and today.

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Police reported that someone broke into a model home at a construction site in the 7800 block of Rollingview Road between Friday and yesterday and removed two microwave ovens, an electric stove and a dishwasher. Police said the appliances were valued at nearly $1,200 and that entry was gained by using a pair of vice grips to open a door.

Harford County

ARREST: Benson -- State Police reported that Santo F. Grasso, 19, of Edgewood, was arrested and charged with the armed robbery of the Magnolia Exxon station in the 1100 block of Pulaski Highway. Police said a man entered the station earlier this month and forced a female clerk working behind the counter to give him the contents of the cash register while pointing a handgun at her. Police said after the gunman was given more than $100 he fled the station on foot. Later, a man fitting the description of the gunman was taken into custody near the robbery scene and was returned to the gas station. There, the clerk identified the man as the one who robbed her at gunpoint. Police said Grasso was charged with robbery, robbery with a deadly weapon, assault with intent to rob and theft. Bail information on Grasso was not immediately available.

DRUG ARREST: Darlington -- Members of the county's Joint Narcotics Task Force arrested a 33-year-old resident of the 1800 block of Poole Road and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Police said task force officers seized 42 marijuana plants growing outside the house and found a quarter pound of processed marijuana inside the dwelling. Police said Thomas O. Anders, the occupant, was arrested at the scene without incident.
