Oakland Mills wins in second OT, 13-7

Korey Singleton scored one touchdown in the first overtime period and another in the second overtime, as host and No. 14 Oakland Mills (2-0) defeated Linganore (1-1), 13-7, in a non-league game yesterday.

The teams were scoreless after regulation. In each overtime of high school games, the teams get the ball at their opponent's 10-yard line with four downs to score.

Oakland Mills scored first in the first overtime, but Linganore tied it. In the second overtime, Oakland Mills scored again, then stopped Linganore.

G'town Prep 21, L. Clifton 0

No. 12 Lake Clifton committed five turnovers, and Bryan Leibrand ran for 129 yards and two touchdowns, as Georgetown Prep defeated the host Lakers in the opener for both.

Lake Clifton's turnovers came on four fumbles and an interception.

Dundalk 21, Franklin 6

Joe Speed had touchdown runs of 1 yard and 33 yards, and Jim Tyler ran for 149 yards and one touchdown, as Dundalk (2-0, 1-0) beat Franklin (0-2, 0-1) in a Baltimore County 3A League game.

Atholton 9, Liberty 6

Joe Yankle kicked a 19-yard field goal with 40 seconds left lifing host Atholton (1-1) over Liberyt (1-1).

Doug Bowen's third interception of the day set up the winning score. Atholton intercepted five passes.

Bryan Gick returned the opening kickoff 82 yards for Atholton's touchdown.

Glenelg 36, Riverdale Baptist 6

Juan Dorsey scored three times, including an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, as Glenelg (1-1) defeated visiting Riverdale Baptist.
