Education: Senior at Western Maryland College in Westminster majoring in physical education; graduate of North Carroll High School in Hampstead; graduate of North Carroll Middle School in Hampstead Family: Mother: Linda, psychometrician with the Carroll County Board of Education; Brother: Denny, physical education teacher at Northwest Middle School in Taneytown Place of worship: Saint John's United Methodist in Hampstead Activities/hobbies: Field hockey, TARGET Affinity, Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, intramural sports Accomplishments: Double state champion in high school track her senior year at North Carroll in the open mile and 3,200 meter relay, earned varsity letters in field hockey and track at Western Maryland College, completed the Marine Corp Marathon last year in four hours, 18 minutes Recipient's comments: "The Twilight Series was a lot of fun and kept me in shape for the fall field hockey season (at WMC). I enjoy running very much. It is a great sport and is very relaxing to me."
