Jennifer Kloetzel, a Catonsville resident and former Peabody Preparatory student, has been awarded a Fulbright grant to study in London with cellist William Pleeth. She will be featured in a recital today at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville.

At Towson State University, Felicia Boggs, Dorothy Hanson, Dawn Jenkins, Tedra Gray, Tricia Cannady and Mellanese Harrison have received Community Enrichment Enhancement Partnership Scholarship Awards; Paul Ruppert and Kimberly Haag were awarded Dean's Merit Scholarships; Andrew Haffer has received the S. Bruce Humphrey Scholarship; Donna Lyons has received a Provost's Scholarship, and Terri Shannon and Cheron Miller have received both a CEEP and a Baltimoreans United in Leadership Development Scholarship.

The following were honored at the 11th annual Baltimore County Police Foundation Awards Ceremony Sept. 6: crime prevention, Officers Leo E. French and James E. Lynch Jr.; community service, Detective Sgt. Rosemarie E. Miller; exceptional police performance, Officers Vern L. Annis and Robert F. Cordery Jr.; distinguished contribution to the profession, Detective Sgt. Sam S. Bowerman; valor, Sgt. Charles E. Boland.
