2 WASHINGTON MEN CHARGED WITH THEFT

Two Washington men were arrested Tuesday after a security guard interrupted the attempted theft of $176 worth of clothing from the Britches store on Ritchie Highway in Pasadena, police said.

A police report says two men entered the store at about 2:50 p.m. One man held a bag and his accomplice stuffed it with clothing, the report says.

The security guard was struck in the face when he tried to detain one of the men, the report says.

Charged with theft were Frank Edward Bell, 24, of the 5900 block of East Capitol Street, Washington, and Dimarcus Williams, 20, of the 1400 block T Street N.E., Washington.

PIZZA DELIVERYMAN IS ROBBED OF $40

A Domino's Pizza deliveryman was robbed of $40 Tuesday morning while sitting in his car after bringing a pizza to a Norfolk Road address in Pasadena.

Lawrence Anthony Herr, of Glen Burnie, was returning from his delivery when he turned a corner at Norfolk and Manning Road. A man came up to his car and said, "Give me all your money," a police report says.

The report says the man had his hands under his shirt to make it appear he had a gun. After taking the money, the man ran away.

Police are looking for a white male, about 6 feet tall, with dark complexion and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans.
