A 14-year-old Kent Island boy shot himself in the groin yesterday morning while he and two other teen-agers were playing with guns in the woods behind his Stevensville home, state police said.
Christopher L. Scardina was flown by helicopter to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and was listed in good condition last night. Police said the two teen-agers with him, a 14-year-old girl from Stevensville and a 14-year-old boy from Queenstown, had run away from home Monday night and were returned to their parents.
